End-of-season, transeason, transitional… whatever you call it, we can all agree that what to wear as the weather shifts can be a head-scratcher!
Cool mornings giving way to milder temperatures catches us all out, but you can dress cleverly for it. Sleeves are our go-to: whether that’s elbow-length smocked cuffs which you’ll find on the pretty Ros Blouse or the versatile Lupita. Or the long-sleeves of cotton jersey tops like Bradyn, with its ruffled cuffs, and Laverne, which has a loose batwing sleeve. Sure, these tops provide an element of practicality, but they are far from predictable!
What to wear with these hard-working tops? Our money is on Lou, a 70s inspired midi denim skirt which you can also wear with tights once the colder weather really kicks in. For weekends, Boyfriend Jeans won’t let you down.
Midi dresses are also a winner for this time of year, especially classic wrap styles in stretchy jersey like Honor, which will see you from morning meeting through to post-work drinks. Ditto the Lennon dress, a timeless shirt design in drapey Tencel with patch pockets which we love to wear with the sleeves rolled up.
Leather biker jackets (like the Kara) were made for this in-between season, so now is the moment to wear yours on repeat. And if the rain is really thrashing down, throw a trench over the top for the last word in layered elegance!
