Our factories are spacious, safe and clean environments that are punctuated with a lively atmosphere and hard-working people who are committed to the product they are making, and to reducing fashion’s impact on the environment.
That’s why we…
• Vet every factory and only work with trusted factories and manufacturing partners who share our vision for circular fashion who committed to reducing their environmental impact
• Ensure our factories sign and adhere to our rigorous Code of Conduct through regular visits to these factories
• Keep internal documents related to the overall performance of suppliers and their third-party audits
• Have strong and committed relationships with our factory owners and work very closely with them to address areas of improvement in the manufacturing process to make them more eco-friendly
Factory & Supply Chain Code of Conduct
Our Code of Conduct is signed by all direct suppliers (tier 1) and some indirect suppliers too (tier 2). It is a binding document and details our expectations of how business is conducted. We check against these when we visit the factory facilities, which we aim to do at least once every year (there were some disruptions over the last 2 years).
Here are a few key points:
• Employment is chosen freely, there is no child labour or forced labour in our supply chain
• No discrimination against race, age, disability, gender, sexual orientation or marital status
• All workers are paid a living wage that must meet the national legal standards
• Working conditions must be safe and hygienic
• Workers have the right to join or form trade unions of their choice
