We’re delighted to bring you an even broader selection when it comes to our favourite off-duty staple: denim. All of our jeans are ethically and responsibly made using organic cotton, so you can step out in style knowing you’ve made a sustainable choice. But which shape to go for? Here’s the rundown…

Wide leg

Fitted around the waist and extending out into an elegant wide shape, Margot and Lou are your go-tos for the most leg-lengthening jeans on the block. We have a soft spot for Lou, because the front patch pockets and washed indigo colour evoke carefree, 70s style - especially when worn with a floral peasant blouse. But there’s also Margot, which in Autumn Winter comes in three washes. Its concealed hook and zip fastening makes for a cleaner look which almost pushes them into trouser territory.

Straight leg

A no-nonsense classic, every wardrobe benefits from a pair of straight-up-and-down jeans. Great with trainers, ideal with heels… the styling options are limitless - and that’s just in the footwear department. Up top, anything from a feminine blouse to a slouchy Breton works.

A Baukjen bestseller, we love a slouchy, masculine-inspired jean with an oversize tee and strappy sandals. Roll the hems up, reach for a leather biker jacket and voila, you’ve mastered chic French dressing in five minutes flat!

Barrell Leg

We’ve added this new shape to our collection and can vouch that it’s a jean for all seasons: the tapered ankle will see you through summer with sandals, then sit neatly above ankle boots come autumn. As their name suggests, expect a neat fit around the waist and hips with volume through the leg before nipping in again at the hems. Simple but so covetable.

Slim Leg

Fitted without being super-skinny, the slim are our sophisticated take on a drainpipe jean. They sit on the natural waist - so you can tuck in shirts and tees - and look as good with sneakers as with boots. But you don’t need us to tell you just how versatile these are!

We also have a soft spot for a tailored jean: our leg-lengthening Bootcut style come in a deep black, so you can wear them like a trouser. Reach for heels and a slinky shirt like Lillith for the most flattering denim outfit around.
