Summer comes with opportunities to elevate the simplest ensembles, as there are fewer weather constraints. I’ve searched Baukjen's SS25 collection with a fine-tooth comb to bring you a considered edit of 5 interchangeable and timeless pieces to wear this summer and beyond.

The Meg bandeau is an understated piece you’ll span plenty of wear from. The hidden bustier offers bust support whilst the rest of the design is free-flowing and effortless. I’ve worn it with everything from loose-fitting jeans to the Saffy skirt. Despite owning it a month ago, the cost per wear is already whittling down significantly

The past few years have taught me never to underestimate the power of accessories. Though they may be discreet, they have the power to instantly transform a look. This season, a lightweight scarf has become a voguish staple. The Aspen Scarf is a notable offering. Owing to its generous size, you can wear it in myriad ways, from a headscarf, to a handbag twilly, waist belt (as per the SS25 trend) and even a bandeau top.

Call me premature, but in the Fashion industry, you’re always one or more seasons ahead and I’ve already given AW25 a thought. After the surge of suede jackets last winter, Sartorialists have inherited this piece as a uniform staple in a transitional wardrobe. Between the deep cocoa hue, round shoulders and slack fit, the Hudson is set to be a popular style for AW25

No French woman’s wardrobe is complete without a cotton shirt, and there are many reasons why the Muriel shirt is a great contender for summer. Shirts either comprise a starchy or slack fabrication, lending them to either formal or informal dress codes. This shirt comprises a supple linen fabrication that is easy to wear and breathable. Evoking memories of summers spent in hot weather climates, fresh fruit and markets, it’s a classic style that will hold memories and work hard in your arsenal.

The Saffy skirt is a fun silhouette that has ample versatility. Lean into nonchalant dressing with a white-shirt and flip flops, or instantly elevate the look with heeled sandals.
