TRIMS
COROZO BUTTONS
Corozo buttons are one of our most used trims and are a small detail that makes a big difference for our goals in more natural materials. Often called “vegetable ivory”, corozo is made from the nut of the tagua palm. The buttons are cut directly from the nut, rather than bonded using plastic-based resins, giving them a naturally smooth finish with subtle variation from piece to piece. Corozo has long been used as an alternative to ivory or horn thanks to its creamy tone and gentle lustre.
PADDINGS
We use recycled down or recycled polyester padding, chosen to suit the performance of each piece and support more circular design. Recycled down is an all-natural alternative to virgin down, recovered from pre-consumer waste and reprocessed for reuse. It offers the same lofty warmth and comfort you’d expect, while using fewer resources and helping keep valuable materials in circulation. Where a garment is 100% polyester, we use recycled polyester padding, so the whole piece stays aligned in fibre content to simplify mechanical recycling at end of garment life once it has been loved and worn.
