At Baukjen we’re not slaves to the latest trends - and nor do we expect you to be. Instead, we’re mindful of emerging silhouettes and key pieces which we think will enrich your wardrobe and will prove a joy to wear.
This season, that equals a mannish twist on the most timeless of pieces. In the cardigan and shirt department, expect a borrowed-from-the-boys fit from the Jody Recycled Wool Cardigan and Caitly Shirt. Generously cut and effortlessly slouchy, we love half-tucking these into tailored trousers for cool office attire.
This relaxed approach to tailoring extends to Fera, a two-piece blazer and pant combo (with an elasticated waist, hooray!) now in a rich shade of dark oak. And then there’s the Gaya Recycled Blazer, a cosy yet elegant jacket which offers endless versatility as a warm layer with leather trousers and heels, or as a preppy addition to jeans and shirts.
It’s not all oversize cuts however; the Saoirse is the ultimate pull-on-and-go pencil skirt, accentuating your shape thanks to its flattering ruched sides. And for lovers of neater fits, look out for the Chitrita wool trousers, which come with a timeless tapered leg. Back-to-work dressing never looked so chic.
Here are some of my recent discoveries.
